About Whitney Nicole Feldkamp
I was born and raised in Loma Linda, CA about 2 hours inland of Los Angeles. I spent my childhood surrounded by family and friends doing everything from horseback riding to surfing. In 2005 I found myself traveling from my warm, beach filled home state to the open plains of Texas. I currently live in McKinney, TX with my fiancé Jonny and our 2 dogs and 3 cats. I have always been interested in every facet of art and discovered photography after my mother gave me a 1972 Honeywell that I had to hand crank to advance the film. From that day forward I have been addicted to being behind the camera.
I take a unique approach to photography, striving to capture the details of everyday moments and create a subtle impression of the larger story. I specialize in portraits and family events, whether outside in natural light or inside for a warmer feel. My priority is to ensure that you and your family feel comfortable and natural throughout the entire shoot. Some people prefer some direction from the photographer, while others like to be proactively involved. I'm flexible and will work with you to produce an end result that you'll be proud to display in your home and share with your loved ones.
